Auto Shop Helper

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Auto Shop Helper/Porter, where you'll play a vital role in supporting vehicle maintenance and repair. Picking up and delivering vehicles along with light on sight repairs.

Duties

• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs.
• Perform heavy lifting and move vehicles or parts safely around the shop to facilitate repairs.
• Use hand tools and power tools under supervision to support various repair tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sweeping, cleaning parts, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help with inventory management by organizing parts, tools, and supplies needed for daily operations.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles
• Clean customer vehicles

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and auto service equipment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various shop tasks.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Prior experience in auto body repair or mechanic work is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
