What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Fullstack engineer position at DPP Tech, Inc.?
We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Individual Contributor) to help us build and scale our AI-driven health platform.
This is a pure hands-on role. You will spend the majority of your time building, writing production code, shipping features, and solving technical problems end-to-end. This role does not include people management responsibilities.
You will work across mobile, web, backend, and data systems, partnering closely with product and leadership to turn ideas into production-ready features.
You will own features end-to-end from design and implementation to deployment and iteration.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Develop mobile and web applications using React Native (Expo) and TypeScript
- Implement backend services and APIs using Node.js / Cloud Functions
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into user-facing features (recommendations, insights, automation)
- Work with Firestore, BigQuery, and event-driven systems (Pub/Sub)
- Collaborate with product to translate ambiguous requirements into working software
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to engineering best practices (code quality, testing, CI/CD)
- Support and mentor other engineers through collaboration and code reviews
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience in full-stack development (frontend backend)
- Proficiency in:
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- React Native (or React)
- Node.js / backend APIs
- Experience building and shipping production-grade applications
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or similar)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth, FCM)
- Experience with BigQuery or large-scale data systems
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM integrations (Genkit, OpenAI, etc.)
- Experience with real-time or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with health, wellness, or data-sensitive platforms
- Experience working in early-stage startups
