DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes and applies department and division policies to enhance program effectiveness and productivity for the Navajo Division for Children and Family Services (NDCFS) 477 Program. Ensures that program operations and objectives align with departmental and divisional missions, goals, and federal 477 program requirements.
Develops, reviews, and recommends policies and procedures to supplement or improve existing departmental or divisional policies in support of federal 477 initiatives. When significant policy changes are required due to budget appropriations, legislative mandates, or programmatic shifts, consults with department managers and division directors to ensure coordinated implementation.
Collaborates with federal agencies and internal stakeholders to develop and implement internal policies and procedures related to the 477 program. Monitors program compliance with applicable Navajo Nation, federal, and state laws, regulations, and funding requirements. Provides leadership and guidance to ensure consistent application of policies and continuous improvement of program operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field; and Six (6) years of program-related experience, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
