Position Overview
The IT Infrastructure & Systems Specialist is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of FACE’s technology ecosystem across all Myrtle Beach locations. This role bridges traditional IT, physical security systems, and facility technology, ensuring reliable operation of networks, computers, audio/visual systems, surveillance, access control, and end-user support.
This position is highly hands-on and mission-critical, serving as the technical owner for infrastructure, security systems, and frontline IT support.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Network Systems

Manage and maintain network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, WiFi, and internet connectivity

Configure, monitor, and secure LAN/WAN environments

Maintain antivirus, patching, and system security standards

Support VoIP and IP-based communication systems
Security & Building Systems
-
Install, configure, and maintain:
-
CCTV surveillance systems
-
Door access control systems
-
Alarm and monitoring systems
-
Ensure system reliability, uptime, and compliance with internal security standards

Support LED lighting systems (including DMX where applicable)

Maintain audio systems and integrated AV solutions

Install and support TVs, displays, and control equipment
End-User & Helpdesk Support

Provide hands-on and remote support for:
-
Laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and peripherals

Operating systems, drivers, and software issues
-
Hardware repair and replacement
-
Respond to service tickets in a timely manner
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime

Train staff on proper technology use and best practices

Manage user accounts and permissions across:

Microsoft 365
-
Azure / Active Directory
-
SharePoint and related platforms

Deploy and configure new hardware and software systems

Test, evaluate, and implement new technologies and solutions

Maintain accurate documentation of:

Network diagrams
-
System configurations
-
Support procedures
- Track recurring issues and recommend long-term improvements

Travel to company locations for installations, repairs, and system upgrades

Assist with physical installations including cabling, mounting equipment, and system commissioning
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in IT support or infrastructure roles

Hands-on experience with:

Networking (firewalls, switching, WiFi)

CCTV and access control systems
-
Microsoft 365, Windows OS, Azure / AD, Entra, Intune

POS systems and peripheral devices
- Audio, video, and lighting systems
-

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Preferred Skills

Experience with POS platforms (Toast, Embed, Brunswick Sync)

Familiarity with Hyper-V, VoIP, and RMM tools
-
Knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage systems
