Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle retail transactions with cash, credit cards, or mobile payments while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation to ensure smooth cafe operations
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times

Skills

• Proven experience with food service or café environments, including barista experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems for seamless transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques for coffee and non-alcoholic drinks
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards consistently
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
