Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Toast processing and payment handling System
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar top area, including food preparation stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while meeting sales goals.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems (Toast) is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques.
