Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Check room set-up to see that Banquet Event Order directions are completely followed
- Act as point of contact for group representatives
- Assist Banquet Servers in all food and beverage items for assigned banquet meetings and events
- Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
- Oversee staff to ensure that proper liquor controls are in use
- Assist with training new team members
- Conduct daily pre-shift departmental meetings in the absence of Banquet Manager
- Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
- Assist with the set up and serving at events when needed
- Inspect banquet areas at end of function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
- Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete
Schedule & Availability:
- Full-Time Position
- Open availability required, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Event-driven schedule based on business needs
Compensation:
Starting wage is $ 16.50/hour plus gratuities

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience required
- Previous Food & Beverage experience required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm, courteous and responsive at all times
- Hotel Experience preferred
