About This Position:
This position functions as a Administrative Coordinator in a District 02 Stockroom. Incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties independently with little to no supervision on a regular basis. The incumbent is also expected to exercise a high degree of independent judgement and initiative in determining the approach/action to take in non-routine situations that may arise. This position must possess extensive knowledge of DOTD work activity codes and the roadway system to accurately process, report, and document all activities accomplished. Participates in DOTD structured training programs as appropriate and attend all continuing education classes and conferences deemed necessary to facilitate the performance of required tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Receives and unloads stock equipment
- Inspects incoming stock or equipment and compares to specifications on invoice, requisition or purchase order.
- Verifies shipping and receiving documents signed and dated with goods received to determine accuracy and takes action to resolve discrepancies to include refusal or delivery. Tags, marks, labels and stores stock in appropriate locations.
- Inventory keeps an accurate account of items received.
Position-Specific Details:
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule: Work hours are to be determined, Monday - Friday.
Appointment Type: This position may be filled by probation, promotion or detail to special duty.
Compensation: Below is the starting hourly rate.
