Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Director, Property Management responsible for the physical property management of all homes in the Doorvest portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring maintenance, inspection, and renovation activities occur in a timely and quality manner. The ideal candidate will be able to remotely complete maintenance with the help of internal and external stakeholders including contracted vendors whom are sourced and managed by this individual. Culturally, this individual is a leader wanting to own their own vertical, implement creative solutions during hyper growth, and take responsibility for team or outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership of Central Operations group, to create new and novel solutions while reporting directly to the COO.
- Manage internal stakeholders in property management vertical to ensure the completion of all maintenance tasks in a timely and quality manner.
- Source, onboard, manage, and performance review offshore individual contractors to assist with completion of daily activities as required.
- Manage internal stakeholders in Central Operations vertical to ensure the completion of all tasks in a timely and quality manner.
- Ensure that all turnovers, renovations, inspections, and maintenance occurs according to internal SLAs and guidelines.
- Manage showing schedules while delivering exceptional customer service
- Communicate with homeowners to gain approval for recommended maintenance
- Complete any special projects including integrations with acquired companies as required.
- Work cross-functionally to launch new technology with product and engineering
- Live completely in data: we invest a lot of time into creating and developing data. You will be tasked with finding the most efficient and financially responsible strategies to manage property management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of property management experience, ideally with multi-site locations and exposure to working with decentralized teams
- 5 years of experience in people management
- Ability and availability to work weekends, holidays, and with an overall flexible schedule to fit current business needs
- Excellent self-management skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver work to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel occasionally as required by the company
- Willingness and desire to absolutely own vertical or responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Proficiency with technology; Rentvine experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher
