About the Engagement
We are seeking senior consulting professionals to assess and redesign a county government's enterprise governance and operating model. The engagement focuses on organizational effectiveness, governance, business process standardization, and executive decision making, with Workday serving as the enabling platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate project activities supporting core operations including finance, procurement, supply chain, and customer operations.
- Assist in planning and tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation for governance, audit, and reporting purposes.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare status reports, and distribute updates to stakeholders at all levels.
SaaS Lifecycle Support
- Support all lifecycle phases including requirements gathering, system integration, data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment.
- Track dependencies across ERP modules (e.g., Oracle Fusion Financials, SCM) and related enterprise systems.
- Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Monitor and maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Track change requests and assess impact on scope, schedule, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with project delivery frameworks, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Network Operations, Supply Chain, and IT, as well as external system integrators and vendors.
- Act as a coordination point between business and technology workstreams to ensure consistent alignment and efficient handoffs.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestone updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Change Management & User Adoption
- Assist the change management teams and user adoption efforts, including scheduling training, coordinating communications, and supporting readiness activities.
- Prepare and distribute communication materials to keep impacted teams informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support post-go-live stabilization activities and coordinate resolution of adoption-related issues.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in project coordination within large enterprise programs and platforms.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle ERP/HCM/EPM implementations or integrations (Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred).
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and external vendors.
- Familiarity with finance/HCM/EPM business processes and systems (e.g., billing, provisioning, customer lifecycle management) is an asset.
- Public sector experience preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP modules including Fusion Financials and/or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Experience with RAID log management, status reporting, and governance documentation.
