Dizario Search is conducting a search for an experienced Melt Shop Operations Leader on behalf of a growing manufacturing organization in the Zanesville, OH area. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing melt shop operations, production performance, and team leadership to support efficient and safe operations.
Melt Shop Operations Leader Key Responsibilities:
- Lead melt shop operations and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and frontline staff
- Manage production schedules, labor, and resources to meet operational goals
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and equipment
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Melt Shop Operations Leader Qualifications:
- Required: 7–10 years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing with melt shop, foundry, steel, or related metals experience
- BS in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement initiatives
- Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt to change
