Dizario Search is currently partnered with a client in the heavy industrial manufacturing industry that is looking for a Director of Environmental Health & Safety to join their team.
This role will lead the company-wide safety strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture across multiple sites, supporting a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees in both union and non-union environments. The Director will also oversee incident investigations, support site leadership, and implement programs that improve overall safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute company-wide health & safety strategy across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal/state regulations
- Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Partner with site leadership to drive a proactive safety culture
- Develop and track safety metrics, KPIs, and performance improvements
Qualifications:
- 10 years of EHS experience, with leadership experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to implement and improve safety programs
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Open to traveling approximately 40–50% to support multiple manufacturing sites
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related field (CSP preferred)
Salary : $170,000 - $180,000
