Dizario Search has been hired by their client, an industry-leading chemical manufacturer, to identify an Electrical Engineer for their operation in the Cleveland area. This position is responsible for designing and optimizing advanced electrical and automation systems that support efficient, reliable, and safe manufacturing operations. The role involves developing and maintaining PLC, HMI, and vision technologies while collaborating across departments to improve processes and implement technical innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment in accordance with NEC standards.
- Create, optimize, and troubleshoot HMI and PLC programs using Allen-Bradley software; develop and maintain vision systems with Cognex tools.
- Manage electrical and facility improvement projects focused on enhancing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Oversee troubleshooting and maintenance of power distribution systems to improve equipment performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to implement process improvements and support capital project initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3–5 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, AC and servo drive systems, and vision system integration
- Experience with instrumentation, loop tuning, and electrical power distribution troubleshooting
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
