Dizario Search has been hired by their client, an industry-leading manufacturer, to identify a Buyer near Madison, OH. The Buyer supports company delivery and inventory objectives through effective procurement, scheduling, and supplier management. This role ensures raw materials and subcontracted services are sourced competitively and delivered on time, maintaining efficient inventory levels while supporting production and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials and subcontract services, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate chronic delivery or quality issues as needed.
- Utilize SAP to manage material requirements, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Control material flow to and from suppliers and within the production floor to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to resolve supplier issues.
- Continuously improve procurement processes, ERP data integrity, and inventory management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain preferred.
- 2–3 years of operations or supply chain experience.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration across teams and with suppliers.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
