ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support HUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
- Design and create marketing content to promote the district’s programs and services to current and prospective students, parents, and community members.
- Create content for digital and print media, including social media, email newsletters, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with district staff to ensure that all promotional materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the district’s branding and messaging guidelines.
- Manage the district’s social media accounts, including creating content, scheduling posts, monitoring feedback, and engaging with followers.
- Collaborate with schools to cover events and initiatives to highlight in newsletters, on social media, presentations, and more.
- Assist with website content creation and posting including news articles and page updates.
- Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of content marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in communications-related training and professional development.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing or communication, preferably in a school district or education setting.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content for a variety of media channels.
- Experience with social media management, including creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
