This is a senior hire for the firm. Someone who wants to step into a visible, client facing role and have real influence, not just review returns all day.
This role will focus on managing complex tax engagements for professional services clients, as well as high net worth individuals, families and related entities.
The role
You’ll lead on complex tax engagements and be the go to person for your clients.
This includes:
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Delivering tax planning and advisory across S Corps, Partnerships, Trusts & Estates, and HNW individuals
- Overseeing compliance across investment partnerships and pass through entities
- Managing and developing a small team underneath you
- Getting involved in consulting work, not just ticking boxes
What they’re looking for
- Active CPA or EA
- Around 7 years in public accounting
- Strong technical experience across individual, partnership, S Corp, trusts, gift and investment partnership taxation
- Comfortable in a client facing role and leading relationships
- Experience with CCH, ideally CCH Axcess, plus general tax research tools
