Attorney – Insurance Defense

Compensation: $140,000–$215,000 (DOE)
A well-regarded and growing litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney for its Voorhees, New Jersey office. This hybrid role offers a manageable 1,800-hour billable requirement and the opportunity to handle high-quality general liability matters in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend general liability matters, including premises, auto, and slip-and-fall cases
- Manage cases from inception through resolution or trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions and attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 1 year of insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and case management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
