An international law firm is seeking a lawyer to join its Government Contracts and National Security practice groups based in Washington, DC.
Preferred candidates will have significant experience in:
- Government contracts transactional support, including mergers and acquisitions and structured investments
- Facility security clearances and foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) analyses
- Government contracts and regulatory counselling, particularly relating to: Small business set-aside programmes, SBIR and STTR awards, Rights in technical data, software, and subject inventions, Cybersecurity and CMMC compliance, Negotiation of prime contracts, subcontracts, and teaming agreements.
Qualifications
The candidate should have:
- Five or more years of government contracts practice experience, including meaningful transactional and counselling experience
- The ability to manage multiple short-deadline assignments while consistently producing thoughtful, high-quality work product
- Excellent writing skills and a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognised law school
Benefits
The expected annual salary for this position is $300,000 , with the final offer dependent on geographic location, relevant experience and the candidate's skills.
