A nationally recognized construction and government contracts law firm with decades of experience representing contractors, subcontractors, owners, and government entities is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their growing practice. This Associate would bring 2-6 years of experience in construction law, government contracts, or a combination of both. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes matters across a broad range of industries and clients, with mentorship from a deep bench of experienced practitioners.
Offer:
$150,000 - $220,000 base salary, contingent on experience and market
Performance-based bonus structure

1,850 billable-hour requirement
Qualifications:
2-6 years of experience in construction law, government contracts, or related litigation
Experience with one or more of the following: public contract disputes, bid protests, Miller Act and Little Miller Act claims, design-build matters, delay and disruption claims, or FAR/DFARS compliance
Strong litigation and/or transactional skills, including drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution
Active Bar license in good standing in at least one of the following: Georgia, DC, Florida, California, Tennessee, or Washington
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Responsibilities:
Managing and supporting a caseload of construction and government contracts matters across multiple practice areas
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements
Handling bid protests before the GAO, Court of Federal Claims, or applicable state tribunals
Representing clients in disputes involving delay claims, differing site conditions, change orders, and project closeouts
Conducting legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs in state and federal courts
Advising clients on risk management, contract compliance, and procurement strategy
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys across office locations on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters
