What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Director position at Distinct | North America?
If you've ever sat in an audit room thinking, "There has to be a better way than this," you're probably right.
Instead of spending the next 20 years ticking files, you'll help shape the technology that's changing how audit gets done. Not by writing code. By bringing the experience that engineers simply don't have.
You'll work with CPA firms to understand how they audit, help them get the most from the platform and feed real world insight back to the product team so the software solves genuine audit problems, not imaginary ones dreamt up in a meeting room.
You'll join a fast growing AI business already working with 35 CPA firms. There are 15 people today. That'll soon be 50 to 60. You'll work alongside founders, engineers and product specialists, helping firms embrace AI without losing the audit methodology that makes them different.
We're looking for someone with 5 to 10 years of audit experience from a Big 4 or Top 25 firm.
CPA preferred. Someone who enjoys talking to clients, improving processes and wants to have a bigger impact than one engagement at a time.
You'll be based in their NYC office when you’re not out with clients.
Here’s the part most people get wrong: you don’t need to tick every box to introduce yourself. The apply button is not legally binding. Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn’t right, and you carry on. Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position.
Prefer the human touch? Splendid. Ring me up. I’m at 646-540-9647. Sometimes Indeed hides my number. If they’re sneaky like that, you'll find my details on LinkedIn. I’m Arran Jaiswal at Distinct North America. Also, I get it can be hard to talk with the fear of your Managing Partner walking past your office. I’m around early (6am EST) and after-hours too.
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
