Responsibilities

• Provide personalized consultations to customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products based on their preferences and experience levels
• Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring secure transactions
• Maintain well-stocked shelves by stocking products, organizing displays, and ensuring proper merchandising standards
• Uphold compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and store policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Assist in inventory management through stock checks, product labeling, and assisting with stock replenishment
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a dispensary or related environment, with supervising experience considered a plus
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge including cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, accessories, and merchandising techniques
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally over the phone or in person
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience with cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and retail sales transactions required
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining compliance with legal standards
• Strong organizational skills for stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
