Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a positive shopping atmosphere through friendly communication and professional phone etiquette
• Assist customers in selecting products by providing detailed product demos and knowledgeable recommendations based on their preferences and needs
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations, cash handling, and cash drawer management
• Upsell products effectively by highlighting features, benefits, and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Maintain stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and appealing displays
• Conduct retail store product knowledge sessions and product demos to educate customers about new or featured items
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently while adhering to all cash handling procedures and basic math accuracy requirements

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
• Strong supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate customers clearly about products and industry regulations
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Knowledge of retail store merchandising, stocking procedures, and inventory management practices
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and balancing cash drawers
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence in a retail environment
• Familiarity with cannabis or related industry products is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
