The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial roofing projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager coordinates all project activities, including labor, materials, scheduling, and communication with internal teams and clients.
Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with estimators, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure project scope is executed efficiently.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, track changes, and adjust schedules, as necessary.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure quality control.
- Facilitate communication between field crews, office staff, and clients.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFI, contracts, change order logs, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local codes.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Key Must Have’s:
- Degree optional, work experience over education for this order.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing Project Management OR related Project Management in general construction management field.
- Come with knowledge of commercial roofing OR general construction and then they would train on commercial roofing.
- Fast-paced office, must like handling multiple projects and multiple deadlines and deliver on schedule.
- Experience in managing large-scale or multi-site roofing or construction projects.
- Must have experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in a project management software – they use TerRio – can be trained in this, but must have some other project management software under their belt.
- Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel up to 1 hour in any direction of the office, as needed.
- PMP certification ideal.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
