Hiring for a General Manager, which is a key leadership position with overall accountability for branch operations in a geographic region.
You’ll own the full picture; sales performance, installation execution, customer experience, team development, and financial outcomes. This is a high-visibility role for someone who can build and sustain a high-performing sales team, drive operational efficiency, and deliver consistent results. The GM partners closely with Corporate and field teams to execute company strategy and uphold our Client’s standards at every level.
Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team, actively maintaining a talent pipeline to meet and sustain headcount goals.
- Coach and motivate Sales Executives on strategies, closing techniques, and performance improvement.
- Monitor individual metrics, manage lead assignment, and hold the team accountable to results.
- Drive lead generation and ensure maximum market penetration across the branch territory.
Operations & Installation
- Oversee scheduling of Measure and Service Technicians to keep jobs moving on time.
- Build strong relationships with Installation Partners to ensure capacity, quality, and productivity.
- Monitor installations for quality workmanship and coordinate with Corporate Scheduling to maximize efficiency.
Customer Experience
- Own the customer journey from sale through installation, resolving escalations and driving five-star outcomes.
- Achieve or exceed Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets through consistent, high-quality service.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop branch employees through clear communication, performance management, and accountability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and shared ownership of results.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the branch and Corporate teams- Scheduling, Customer Relations, Service, and HR.
Financial Performance
- Achieve branch revenue and profitability goals; manage collections, labor costs, and reprocessing.
- Manage inventory to ensure timely installations and escalate supply issues, as needed.
- Review monthly performance scorecards with the Senior Executive Teams.
Key Must Have’s:
- Degree and/or years of experience would be fine.
- He is looking for someone who has a background: 70% sales and has 30% Home Improvement/Construction background or other B2C industries (like TruGreen, etc)
- Ideally, he would like:
- 1st Choice: Home improvement background
- 2nd Choice: Construction / Install background
- 3rd Choice: Any B2C type business.
- Ideally, someone with a Branch management experience or multi-unit operations management.
- Need the person to understand that managing a sales team is different than how to manage an install team.
- 5 years sales experience – understands how to sell and have previously run sales teams.
- 2 years of general management
- Understand how to do budgets
- Previous P&L responsibilities
- MS Office skill set, especially strong in Excel
- Power BI, preferred
- Strong in Excel
- Strong Leadership, Good Personality, Strong work ethic, Detail and results oriented.
- Ability to use a CRM – (home grown systems, can be taught)
- Proven ability to recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent communicator - effective with frontline staff and senior leadership alike.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
