Warehouse Operations Manager
Our client is a global leader in manufacturing safety products that service healthcare, hospitality and food solutions. They are seeking to hire a Warehouse Operations Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of daily warehouse functions and operations, including the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. In this role you will manage 3PL partner relationships and optimize warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily warehouse activities / operations
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse organization and configuration
- Develop performance measures, key metrics, and reporting
- Maintain relationships with 3PL partners; attend meetings and travel to sites
- Create clear and practical workflows to improve accuracy
- Develop plans that align with demand forecasts, production capacity, and sales patterns
- Implement processes that reduce errors, improve productivity, and increase consistency
- Maintain safety regulations and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Min. 5 years of Warehouse Operations Management experience
- Min. 10 years of Warehouse Operations experience
- Experience in 3PL, Warehouse and Inventory Management
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (i.e. SAP)
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment i.e. pallet jacks and forklifts
- Certified to operate a forklift
- Basic computer skills required
- Proficient with RF scanners
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel 20%
Offering:
- Base Salary $70,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)
