Teaching Assistant
Job Description:
- This is a part-time position
- A Teaching Degree is welcome, and minimum of H.S. Diploma required
- Will consider Candidates: Experienced, Recent Graduates, Transition to Teaching
Ideal Candidate will :
- Be a part of a vibrant, Catholic, faith-filled educational community.
- Work under the direction of classroom teachers and/or the Director of Special Ed.
- Work at various grade levels to provide student academic support
- As needed, assist with implementation differentiated, standards-based lessons for students with a Mild or Moderate Disability
- Possess strong behavior management skills.
- Ability to provide effective 1:1 or small group instruction
- Efficiently utilize, with training, technology for instruction and student learning (interactive projector, Canvas Learning Management System, Chromebook, Google Classroom, digital techbooks, etc.)
- Communicate consistently and professionally with students, parents, staff, & administration
- Fosters the spiritual development of students.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal
