We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Miramar, FL office team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within the international luxury goods and logistics sector.
Position Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator will assist in managing the daily operations of the company’s global logistics network. This includes supporting the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating inbound and outbound shipments of non-revenue merchandise.
- Prepare and verify shipping, customs, and export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. and international regulations.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track shipments, update databases, and report on transit statuses and delivery timelines.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with reconciliation of goods received and shipped.
- Support the logistics and compliance team with audits, filing, and recordkeeping.
- Identify and communicate potential shipment delays or discrepancies to management.
- Provide administrative support to the logistics department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain coordination (internship or coursework experience welcome).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP or logistics systems experience a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to stand and move for long periods of time and lift/pack boxes up to 30 lbs. in weight.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
