The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep field expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex healthcare construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, subcontractors, and jobsite activities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant jobsite aligned with OSHA, infection control (ICRA), and company safety standards.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, owners, design teams, and inspectors.
- Develop and manage short-interval schedules and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Lead subcontractor meetings, monitor productivity, and resolve field issues in real time.
- Ensure quality standards and healthcare facility protocols are consistently followed.
- Anticipate challenges, mitigate risk, and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document daily reports, progress photos, inspections, and relevant field records.
- 4 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
- Strong background in healthcare projects (OSHPD/AHCA/ICRA familiarity preferred).
- Proven experience with public works or government-funded projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, MEP systems, and infection control processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, construction management platforms, and digital documentation tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
