Mechanical Construction Project Manager – Semiconductor Projects

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex semiconductor construction projects throughout the Phoenix market. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing contractor delivering some of the most technically advanced manufacturing facilities in North America.

What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of highly technical mechanical systems supporting semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs), cleanrooms, and advanced manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field execution
- Coordinate closely with owners, design teams, vendors, trade partners, and field leadership
- Drive project safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation
- Support preconstruction efforts including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews
- Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
Semiconductor Experience Preferred

- Cleanroom support equipment
Cleanroom Environments
- ISO Class 3, 4, 5, and 6 cleanrooms
- Semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs)
- Advanced packaging facilities
- Research and development cleanrooms
- High-purity manufacturing environments
Installation Scopes
- High-purity piping systems
- Process piping
- Mechanical equipment setting
- Utility distribution systems
- Tool utility connections
- Prefabrication and modular construction
- Startup, commissioning, and owner turnover
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction
- Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom experience strongly preferred
- Proven success managing projects ranging from $10M–$250M
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, scheduling, cost control, and project execution
- Experience with contract management, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, highly technical construction environments
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
