What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at DEZER DEVELOPMENT LLC?
The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. This is a part-time (approximately 25 hours per week), non-exempt position that reports to the Office/Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Answers phone and directs callers to appropriate associates.
- Greets and logs all incoming visitors to the sales center.
- Ensures the proper brokers are notified when their guest(s) arrive.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel. Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area.
- Maintains safety and security by locking doors at the end of the day.
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience
- Candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and be highly organized.
- Must project a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
- Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred and Portuguese is a plus
- Must be available to work various shifts and days (Monday through Sunday)
