Job Title: Senior HR Operations Representative

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in HR operations, customer service, and system management. As a Senior HR Operations Representative, you will be a key resource within the HR Connect team, providing advanced support to employees and resolving complex HR inquiries and transactions.
You will be working closely with various HR functional areas to ensure the seamless processing of HR requests, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The role involves using HR systems like Workday and ServiceNow to handle transactions such as terminations, job changes, leaves of absence, and employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Transaction Management (50%)
- Process advanced HR transactions such as US and CA terminations, job and organizational changes, CA leaves, anniversary awards, and job profile updates.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure accurate processing of requests.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee data.
- HR Support & Education (20%)
- Provide support for tasks like onboarding, tuition reimbursement, badging, and union membership updates.
- Assist employees with benefit plan enrollment, separation/leaves documentation, and other HR-related inquiries.
- Offer guidance and support to people leaders and employees about HR processes and policies.
- Customer Service & Case Management (10%)
- Provide timely updates and guidance to employees and internal stakeholders regarding case status.
- Utilize ServiceNow and Workday for ticketing and tracking HR inquiries.
- Educate employees on self-service tools and escalate non-routine matters as necessary.
- HR System Updates & Documentation (10%)
- Review and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for HR processes.
- Participate in audit requests, prepare documents, and engage in ad-hoc projects as required.
- Additional Responsibilities (10%)
- Backup responsibilities for answering calls, managing voicemails, and directing tickets to the appropriate team for processing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of experience in HR operations, HR customer service, or related fields. Experience with ServiceNow and Workday is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HR policies, state and federal labor laws, and compliance.
- Proficiency in HR systems (preferably ServiceNow and Workday).
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
