What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position at Dex by Terra, Inc.?
Dex by Terra is seeking an experienced Landscape Field Foreman to lead a crew and take ownership of daily production on job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows landscaping inside and out and can keep the crew safe, productive, and on schedule.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on daily routes
- Plan and execute daily job schedules to ensure properties are completed on time and to Dex by Terra's quality standards
- Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable to safety and performance expectations
- Inspect completed work and address quality issues before leaving a site
- Operate and oversee proper use/maintenance of equipment (mowers, trucks, trailers, hand tools)
- Communicate directly with clients on-site to address questions or concerns professionally
- Report daily progress, issues, and material/equipment needs to the Field Operations Manager
- Enforce all safety protocols and company policies on site
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of landscaping experience, including prior lead or supervisory experience
- Strong working knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, plant care, and equipment operation
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to tow trailers a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a crew's daily workload and keep production on pace
- Bilingual (English and Portuguese and/or Spanish) is a plus

Physical Requirements
Primarily outdoor, field-based work in all weather conditions. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have reliable transportation to our Hudson, MA office.
