What are the responsibilities and job description for the Influencer Marketing Associate position at Devotion?
About Devotion
Devotion builds and operates large-scale creator ecosystems for the world's most ambitious consumer brands. Featured in Vogue as the company built for the post-follower era, we combine a proprietary AI platform with deep brand and cultural expertise to run ambassador programs, gifting engines, incentive frameworks, and community infrastructure to 10x the amount of creator content our clients can produce without compromising brand safety or quality.
Founded by former TikTok executive Jonathan Kroopf and Parade founder Cami Téllez, Devotion has generated over a billion impressions, engaged tens of thousands of creators, and hit seven-figure revenues. We're backed by top-tier venture investors and founders from Away, Ramp, and Twitch.
The Role
We're hiring an Influencer Marketing Associate to work alongside our Influencer Marketing Account Leads in running creator community, ambassador, and gifting programs across multiple brand partners. You'll be a true partner on the brands you're staffed on — helping shape strategy, executing the day-to-day, and keeping campaigns moving so the brand always feels like it's getting Devotion's full attention. This is a high-visibility role with a clear path to Influencer Marketing Account Lead: you'll learn the playbook by running it, build strategic instincts by being in the room, and grow into owning your own brands.
You'll work alongside Devotion's AI platform, which surfaces the right creators and streamlines outreach so you can focus on the work that matters: executing sharp, brand-aligned programs that keep creators coming back.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Influencer Marketing Account Lead on shaping each brand's strategy: bringing creator insights, campaign learnings, and cultural signals into planning sessions, and helping translate strategy into the campaigns we actually run
- Run end-to-end brand ambassador programs alongside the Influencer Marketing Account Lead: owning the day-to-day execution across creator onboarding, gifting, follow-ups, and engagement so programs stay sharp and on cadence
- Be the operational backbone of the brands you're staffed on: pulling creator lists, managing outreach queues, tracking shipments, chasing posts, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Hit monthly targets for creator applications, acceptance rates, content volume, and posting rates on the programs you support
- Draft campaign copy, posting instructions, and creator-facing messaging, informed by what's resonating on TikTok and Instagram right now and aligned to each brand's voice
- Work hands-on with our AI sourcing engine, running queries, flagging gaps in targeting, and feeding learnings back to improve the model
- Help shape brand-specific safety parameters with the Influencer Marketing Account Lead, then run checks on creators and content against them, escalating edge cases for review
- Join client calls as a co-presenter, owning sections of the agenda, walking through performance, and gradually taking on more of the strategic conversation as you grow into the role
- Partner with sourcing, outreach, and engineering teammates to keep multiple campaigns moving in parallel and to push the playbook (and the AI behind it) forward
Who You Are
- 1-3 years of experience in creator marketing, community operations, influencer programs, brand partnerships, or adjacent roles at a brand, agency, or platform — internships count if the work was substantive
- You've worked on a creator program, gifting campaign, or community in some capacity and you understand the rhythm: the chasing, the spreadsheets, the small stuff that adds up to whether a campaign actually performs
- Sharp instincts for culture and content — you're on TikTok and Instagram daily and can tell when something is landing or falling flat, and you have a point of view on why
- Strategic curiosity — you don't just execute, you ask why. You want to understand the brand, the customer, and what's working before you ship the next thing
- Highly organized and systems-minded—you build processes, not just relationships. You're comfortable managing multiple fast-moving programs simultaneously without dropping balls.
- Clear, fast communicator — comfortable working across teams and writing tight, brand-aligned copy
- You lean into AI and new tools rather than away from them. You're excited about using technology and agents to operate at a scale that would be impossible manually
- Hungry to grow. You want to be running your own brands inside 12-18 months, and you're willing to put in the reps to get there
Why This Role Is Different
You'll operate programs at a scale that traditional agencies can't touch, with AI-powered tools handling the parts that used to require teams of 10. We're building the infrastructure to "scale intimacy" and this role is at the center of that. These programs have already generated tens of millions of impressions and your job is to ensure they are always improving.
