Key Responsibilities:
As a (Senior) Tender Manager, you will be responsible
for developing and leading the tendering function at a local level, ensuring
our deugro Houston office is positioned to submit tender
documentation of the highest quality. You will drive industry-leading technical
solutions and competitive pricing strategies that result in successful contract
awards. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in project
logistics, freight forwarding, and client engagement, capable of managing
complex tenders and mentoring team members.
This position may be filled at either the Senior Tender
Manager or Tender Manager level depending on the
candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Main responsibilities and objective include but are not
limited to:
- Develop and lead the
tendering function at the local level for deugro’s Houston office.
- Ensure submission of
tender documentation of the highest quality, featuring industry-leading
technical solutions and competitive pricing.
- Assist with pre-tender
activities and early-stage efforts to support strategic tender response
development.
- Lead strategic U.S. and
Houston-based tenders, overseeing technical concepts, commercial
strategies, and bid documentation.
- Manage tendering
processes, strategies, and tools in coordination with Sales, Business
Development, Marketing, and other internal functions.
- Collaborate with global,
regional, and local teams on ITT/RFI/RFQ and similar strategic tenders and
MSAs.
- Support sales teams in
bid presentations and negotiations for key tenders.
- Make strategic
commercial decisions in close coordination with country and regional
management.
- Review contract terms
and conditions, assess risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Oversee implementation
and onboarding of new business through SOP development and coordination
with operations and project teams.
- Conduct postmortem reviews with clients and internal teams to identify improvement opportunities.
