Lunch Line Cook

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Day Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
• Assist in assembling and plating dishes according to menu specifications and presentation standards
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to maintain a hygienic environment
• Support the kitchen team during meal preparation, including cooking, portioning, and garnishing food items
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized kitchen space
• Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
• Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs and menu planning requirements

Skills

• Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrating strong culinary skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and basic cooking methods
• Familiarity with menu planning, catering support, and food service operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support seamless kitchen operations

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
