Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and menu plans to deliver authentic flavors and appealing presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Support kitchen team members in meal preparation, catering events, and special menu requests
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures to promote a safe dining environment
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing dishes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
