Job Summary
Adjunct Instructor, Motorcycle Rider Coach.
This position is located at the Transportation Institute.
This role requires an MSF RiderCoach certification or willingness to attend a Rider Coach Prep training for certification. The RCP training generally consists of 2 or 3 weekend sessions in late spring/early summer.
*Due to this training course being required before teaching this class, there may be a several month wait between hire date and first class taught.
Essential Functions
Provide motorcycle riding instruction.
Instruct novice riders.
Organize and maintain records.
Prepare paper and electronic documents.
Required Qualifications
Motorcycle license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willingness to attend Rider Coach Prep training for certification (DMACC will pay for instructor rider coach certification).
Comfortable instructing individuals with minimal to no prior experience.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications
Previous successful completion of Rider Coach Prep (RCP) course and experience as a Rider Coach.
Work Schedule
Evening and weekends, flexible.
