Entry Level CNC Machine Operator(Metal Manufacturing)

Primary Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely cycle CNC machinery to manufacture production metal parts.
- Setup Assisting: Complete introductory machine changeovers, component adjustments, and part leveling.
- Material Handling: Load raw stock and unload completed components efficiently.
- Technical Compliance: Interpret production work instructions, route sheets, and basic blueprints.
- Quality Inspection: Use basic measuring devices to perform routine dimensional checks on finished pieces.
Qualifications & Expectations
- Background: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a metal manufacturing environment or generic machine operation.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with blueprint reading and simple technical drawings.
- Machining Skills: Prior CNC exposure or mechanical setup experience is a major plus, though strong mechanical aptitude will be considered.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for the duration of a standard production shift.
- Hiring Requirements: A consistent, stable work history is preferred; must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
