Entry Level CNC Machine Operator(Metal Manufacturing)

Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift Available

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience)

Primary Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely cycle CNC machinery to manufacture production metal parts.
• Setup Assisting: Complete introductory machine changeovers, component adjustments, and part leveling.
• Material Handling: Load raw stock and unload completed components efficiently.
• Technical Compliance: Interpret production work instructions, route sheets, and basic blueprints.
• Quality Inspection: Use basic measuring devices to perform routine dimensional checks on finished pieces.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Background: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a metal manufacturing environment or generic machine operation.
• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with blueprint reading and simple technical drawings.
• Machining Skills: Prior CNC exposure or mechanical setup experience is a major plus, though strong mechanical aptitude will be considered.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for the duration of a standard production shift.
• Hiring Requirements: A consistent, stable work history is preferred; must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
