Millwright & Welder Foreman (Agricultural/Industrial)
Location: Based in Des Moines, IA (Fieldwork throughout Central Iowa)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime available)
Pay Rate: $30.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience)

Core Responsibilities
- Field Autonomy: Work independently in the field to manage day-to-day job site operations safely and efficiently.
- Crew Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and work alongside a small millwright crew installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial mechanical systems (conveyors, grain elevators, and agricultural equipment).
- Turnaround Management: Direct and execute maintenance tasks during planned agricultural facility and plant shutdowns.
- Technical Execution: Perform precise mechanical assembly and field welding utilizing the Stick welding process.
- Blueprint Proficiency: Interpret complex blueprints, structural diagrams, and technical layouts to guide field installations.
- Site Management: Coordinate directly with Project Managers, manage daily safety protocols, and enforce OSHA compliance.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Millwright Foreman independently managing a small field crew.
- Trade Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on Millwright experience specifically featuring agricultural shutdown / turnaround work.
- Welding Skills: Proficiency in industrial Stick welding.
- Logistics: Must be comfortable traveling daily to various job sites across Central Iowa.
