What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensing Registration Examiner position at Department of Motor Vehicles?
This position is located at the San Clemente Field Office in San Clemente.
Under general direction of the manager in a Grade III field office, with minimal day-to-day supervision, the Licensing-Registration Examiner performs the most difficult and sensitive work in an environment which routinely requires a calm, courteous, and tactful approach in providing customer service. The incumbent interacts respectfully and effectively with supervisors, peers, other departmental employees, and supporting agencies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. The amount of time performing certain tasks may vary based on the needs of the office.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions
Saturday/extended office hours may be required. Required to evaluate an applicant's driving skill and/or make decisions regarding their driving privilege. May be required to travel throughout neighboring offices.
