Location: Snoqualmie, WA – Echo Glen Children’s Center
Salary: $56,880 – $76,608 annually 5% King County premium 5% facility premium

The Opportunity
We are seeking an Intake Specialist to join our team at Echo Glen Children’s Center. In this role, you will manage and administer intake assessments including the Integrated Developmental Evaluation & Assessment (IDEA), Sexually Aggressive Vulnerable Youth (SAVY), and Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (SOGIE) assessments. Your work will directly inform treatment planning for youth and provide essential quality assurance oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct IDEA, SAVY, and SOGIE assessments for new intakes.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and completed within required timelines.
- Contact families, courts, providers, and collateral contacts to gather information.
- Complete reassessments and maintain a system for tracking youth needs.
- Enter assessment data into ACT (case tracking system) and submit reports for approval.
- Provide detailed information to treatment providers to guide planning.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews, meetings, and training.
Required Qualifications
One of the following:
- 6 years of experience in juvenile justice or social services, including 1 year conducting risk/needs assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Mental Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field 2 years of relevant experience.
- Associate’s degree in a related field 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of risk and protective factors for justice-involved youth.
- Experience with IDEA or other adolescent risk/needs assessment tools.
- Familiarity with CBT, DBT, FFT, and other evidence-based treatment models.
- Skills in motivational interviewing and quality assurance methods.
- Strong judgment, communication, and ability to work independently or in teams.
