Medical Assistant
Location: Snoqualmie, WA – Echo Glen Children’s Center
Salary: $3,665 – $4,882/month 5% King County premium 5% facility premium
Schedule: 4/10 workweek (Day & Evening shifts)

The Opportunity
Join the medical team at Echo Glen Children’s Center, a secure residential facility serving justice-involved youth. As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring youth have access to quality healthcare that restores, heals, and supports their growth. You’ll assist with exams, treatments, medications, and clinic operations—all while working in a supportive team environment on a scenic campus.
What You’ll Do
- Administer daily medications and monitor for side effects.
- Prepare, administer, and document vaccinations under nursing/physician direction.
- Support youth intake screenings, triage, and clinic reception.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, wound care, lab tests, and specimen collection.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures.
- Schedule off-site medical appointments and manage records in the EMR.
- Communicate allergy and rescue medication alerts to residential staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Washington State MA certification.
- 1 year of direct patient care experience.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful workplace principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in correctional or inpatient psychiatric settings.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity in care delivery.
