The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Fiscal Analyst 4 (FA4) to lead the business office at Green Hill School, a Juvenile Rehabilitation institution. This role oversees fiscal operations—including payroll auditing, purchasing, receivables, local funds, and commissary/warehouse functions—supporting an $86 million biennial budget. More than numbers, this position directly supports the well-being of youth by ensuring resources are managed with integrity, efficiency, and purpose.
As a financial leader, you’ll supervise staff, train new team members, and partner with the Institution Finance Coordinator to manage reporting and forecasting. What You’ll Do
- Supervise Fiscal Specialists, Analysts, and Procurement staff.
- Hire, train, and develop fiscal professionals.
- Manage payroll auditing, time/attendance entry, and leave tracking.
- Oversee procurement, local funds, and commissary operations.
- Prepare reconciliations, financial reports, and monthly summaries.
- Lead fiscal year close activities and ensure compliance.
- Provide backup support to the Institution Finance Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (including 18 quarter or 12 semester credits in accounting, auditing, or budgeting) AND 2 years of professional experience.
OR
- Master’s degree in a financial-related field OR CPA/related certification (may substitute for experience).
OR
- Equivalent education/experience totaling 6 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of accounting theory, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing complex fiscal data and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across levels.
- Familiarity with institutional environments and PREA standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AFRS, HRMS, Enterprise Reporting, and fiscal systems.
- Demonstrated ability to model professionalism and socially responsible behavior.
