We are currently seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Dental Lab Manager to join and lead our state-of-the-art facility launching this summer in NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level technician or department lead ready to take full ownership of a leadership role, combining bench expertise with lab operations and team management.
About the Role:
As we build out our modern, full-service dental lab, we are looking for someone who can lead by example, spending the initial months hands-on at the bench, while gradually transitioning into full lab oversight. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the team, workflows, and technology, with long-term potential to evolve into an Operations or General Manager role.
What You’ll Do:
Technical & Production Duties:
- Perform hands-on fabrication of crowns, bridges, implants, removables, and All-on-X cases (approx. 80% bench work initially).
- Guide team members on complex cases, troubleshoot clinical and technical issues.
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure consistent case outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement of lab processes and new product integration.
Team Leadership & Lab Management:
- Hire, train, and mentor technicians to build a cohesive and skilled team.
- Manage lab operations including scheduling, production timelines, and supply budgets.
- Monitor workflow from case intake to delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time completion.
- Partner with doctors and the internal business team to deliver high-quality service and strengthen client relationships.
- Track KPIs and contribute to strategic decisions based on performance metrics.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and lab best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of hands-on dental lab experience, with expertise in fixed restorations, implants, and All-on-X protocols.
- 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally managing a team or department.
- Solid understanding of CAD/CAM design, with working knowledge of 3Shape or Exocad.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive leader who enjoys developing talent, optimizing processes, and supporting growth.
- Local candidates preferred, but relocation support is available for the right fit.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 (based on experience).
