We have partnered with a successful, mid-sized bank in Boerne, TX who has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Personal Banker to join their team.
In this role you will....
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by serving as their primary point of contact for personal banking needs
- Provide personalized financial guidance across deposit products, loans, and account services to support customers’ financial goals
- Educate customers on available banking solutions and assist with account maintenance, service requests, and issue resolution
- Exercise sound judgment and ethical decision making in all customer interactions, consistently acting in the best interest of the customer and the bank
- Actively manage risk and adhere to all security, compliance, and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements
- Participate in required training to remain current on products, services, policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through proactive service, referrals, and solution-based conversations
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of prior banking experience within a local and/or private bank setting; cash handling experience required
- Must have experience with opening new accounts - dealbreaker
- Strong customer service focus with a proven service-oriented minds
- Effective organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationship
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skill
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlout
- Handle frequent customer inquiries via phone and email
