Pay Range: $55.00 – $62.00 per hour (based on experience and internal equity)

Position Overview

We are seeking a System Administrator III to support and maintain the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) platform within a large enterprise environment.

This role will focus on platform administration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and reporting support across ELM applications, ensuring stability, performance, and successful system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

ELM Platform Administration

• Maintain and support the IBM ELM platform, ensuring consistent performance and system stability

• Perform routine application maintenance, project cleanup, and archiving activities

• Provide daily administration support across EWM, ETM, DNG, and JRS

Upgrade & Patch Management

• Review IBM ELM upgrade documentation, release notes, and compatibility matrices

• Conduct pre-upgrade assessments and execute post-upgrade validation processes

• Perform iFix patches and upgrades across the ELM platform

• Validate project areas, templates, integrations, and data integrity following upgrades

Data Management & Reporting

• Coordinate data backups and perform application-level export/import tasks

• Maintain and troubleshoot reporting components such as JRS and LQE

• Perform reindexing and ensure reporting accuracy across the platform

Application Support & Troubleshooting

• Manage and resolve support tickets related to configuration, workflows, requirements, and source control

• Troubleshoot issues such as reporting sync errors, missing associations, cache conflicts, and permission issues

• Support custom application and plugin deployments

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support platform needs

• Ensure clear communication and proactive issue resolution across teams

Required Qualifications

• Experience administering IBM ELM tools (EWM, ETM, DNG, JRS)

• Experience performing ELM upgrades, patches, and validations

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise application environments

• Experience managing support tickets and resolving system issues

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams

• Ability to maintain system performance, data integrity, and reporting accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with RTC Eclipse client

• Experience building and maintaining JRS reports

• Experience with custom application or plugin deployments

• 3 years of Big 4 consulting experience

• Stable work history within large enterprise organizations
