PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to fabricate precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
- Utilize bore gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools for quality control.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to meet production standards.
- Assemble components as needed based on specifications.
- 5 years of proven experience as a Machinist with expertise in both manual and CNC operations for more qualified candidiates. We also seek to hire those with trade school experience that we can build upon.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines and quality control processes.
- Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Basic programming skills for CNC machines are a plus.
- Must successfully undergo a background investigation and drug screening.
