Marketing Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-savvy Marketing Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This hybrid role (3 days on site, 2 days remote) focuses on translating marketing strategies into actionable insights through data analytics, supporting campaigns across digital channels, email, and paid media within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and executes SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple marketing sources.
• Develops dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as customer acquisition, retention, conversion rates, and ROI.
• Analyzes marketing campaign performance across digital, email, and paid media channels, providing actionable insights.
• Collaborates with marketing, sales, and product teams to define analytical frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Identifies trends, anomalies, and opportunities within customer and campaign data to inform strategic decisions.
• Supports A/B testing and experimentation by designing measurement frameworks and analyzing results.
• Presents findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring actionable understanding.
• Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems and dashboards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data transformations.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Solid understanding of marketing concepts like funnels, attribution, segmentation, and campaign performance metrics.
• Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a marketing or digital analytics environment within a fast-paced business setting.
• Familiarity with Python or other data analysis programming languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of customer journey mapping and attribution models.
• Prior experience supporting cross-functional teams on analytical projects.
