Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-class data repositories using Oracle technologies (on-prem and cloud-hosted).
- Develop and automate ETL processes for ingesting and transforming data from various sources including flat files, APIs, and databases.
- Create and optimize SQL and PL/SQL procedures, functions, views, and scripts for high-performance operations.
- Utilize Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for reporting, visualization, and analytics needs.
- Apply dimensional and tabular modeling techniques to support data warehousing and business intelligence.
- Capture, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation, architectural diagrams, and metadata for all database processes.
- Implement best practices for data integrity, error logging, and process automation.
- Provide technical mentorship and serve as a trusted advisor to IT staff and stakeholders.
- Research and recommend new technologies and data management practices to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure consistent data accuracy, availability, and reliability.
- Extensive experience with Oracle database platforms (both on-prem and cloud-hosted).
- Strong background in enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, and ETL automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
