Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer / Database Programmer to join our team at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing internal web applications and database systems that support daily operations, reporting, and process automation across the plant.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently onsite, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating operational needs into efficient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications to support manufacturing operations
- Build and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools for production and management teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems and applications
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Optimize database queries and application performance
- Integrate systems across platforms (ERP, inventory, production tracking, etc.)
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and codebases
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in web development and database programming
- Proficiency in:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Server-side languages (e.g., C#, Python, PHP, or similar)
- SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with database design, optimization, and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently onsite and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with ERP or MES systems
- Experience with Power BI, PowerApps, Dataflows, or similar tools
- Knowledge of API integrations and automation workflows
- Experience with Proficy
- Experience with digital signage device and display programming
- Familiarity with ITAccess, VoiceIt, Opal, Databricks
- Experience with RTCIS and PrIME systems
- Understanding of network and system architecture
